Total Rewards Certificate Program, The
ID#: CERTIFICATE 119

Participants that complete this track will be able to identify, create and design major elements of a total rewards model intended to attract, motivate and retain employees. The emphasis of this track is to provide practical experience and an opportunity to participate in the mechanics of creating and designing programs to meet the individual needs of each organization. In addition, participants will analyze and discuss issues such as reward consistency, competitiveness, administration, implementation, and maintenance. The program presents participants with a wide range of information on the various total rewards topics including philosophy, organizational fit, reward objectives, equity, efficiency and compliance.

Who should consider this program
For all HR professionals, benefit or compensation managers and those who are developing their HR expertise.

Certificate Requirements
Receipt of the certificate is accomplished by completing the following core seminars and one from the additional seminars list. Those completing the certificate requirements should contact the Organizational Development and Learning Department at 303.894.6732 or email registration@msec.org to request their recognition certificate.

Core Seminars (participants must complete the following seminars):

  • Benefit Administration: The Basics from A to Z (private or public offering) (2 days - $285)
  • Business Basics (2 days - $345)
  • Compensation Administration: Basic Design and Development (2 days - $285)
  • Compensation Administration: Beyond Base Pay (1 day - $165)
  • Job Analysis and Description Workshop (½ day - $120)
  • Total Rewards (1 day - $165)
  • Total Rewards: Effective Measurement and Communication Strategies (1 day - $165)
  • Wage and Hour Workshop (1 day - $165)

Additional Seminars (participants must also complete one (1) of the following seminars):
