Training Needs Assessment Survey

The purpose of the Training Needs Assessment Survey is to help organizations evaluate their current training programs. MSEC staff will meet with human resource/training professionals to examine such issues as: inventory of current programs, identification of problem areas, and analysis of groups currently receiving training.

Employee Training Needs Survey
The TNA uses a customized questionnaire to assess employee perceptions of what training programs should be implemented. Employees are encouraged to prioritize their training needs and explain in detail the nature of the difficulties they are encountering in these areas. This tool can be administered in both a "pen-and-paper" as well as an "online" format.

Program Implementation
In this portion of the TNA, companies identify high priority areas for training, determine what is required in terms of budget, time and staff, and identify those systems in the organization that will support the training effort. Resources are also suggested to help with training implementation.

Charges for the TNA are based on the number of employees who participate.

Number of Participants Fee
1-100 participants $1,250
101-200 participants $2,000
201-300 participants $2,600
301-400 participants $3,000
Over 400 participants $8.00/participant

When training needs have been correctly identified, organizations can develop a corrective action plan that is both appropriate and applicable. Such a training plan should be expedient and cost effective, providing the greatest possible return on investment.
