Health Care Reform Assessment

If we have learned anything from health care reform it’s that each company must perform an individual assessment of the law's impact to ensure the best possible outcome. We also know that the requirements of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or PPACA have overwhelmed many employers as they work to understand and calculate potential penalties and chart a course to full compliance.

To assist employers in their efforts to fully understand and comply with the important provisions of health care reform, MSEC has developed the Health Care Reform Assessment.

What is MSEC’s Health Care Reform Assessment?

MSEC’s Health Care Reform Assessment provides your organization the blueprint it needs to comply with the many and ever-changing requirements of PPACA. This customized assessment analyzes the specific impact health care reform will have on your organization and provides a checklist with “action steps” for implementing the necessary changes to ensure compliance.

The Health Care Reform Assessment will help you address the following concerns:

• What is an Applicable Large Employer, and do we qualify?

• If so, what type of coverage do we have to provide?

• Are we required to provide health care coverage to all of our employees?

• What penalties will we pay if we don’t properly cover our employees?

• How do we know if we are eligible for small employer credits?

• What notices are required under PPACA?

What is included in the Assessment?

The assessment includes a review of your business and workforce, your company’s health care benefits information, a one-hour consultation with a health care reform specialist, and a customized checklist for implementing the necessary changes relating to PPACA. This assessment is provided for a flat fee of $750.00.
